hey! i went to QMU for the summer, I’m originally from the U.S. but studied in Edinburgh for a study abroad trip. I really love the campus it’s so environmentally friendly and it’s designed so well, not to mention the scenery is just beautiful. Since Musselburgh is a small town I just bought all my groceries around town like at Tesco and M&S and went shopping at some of the stores! I also just loved to walk around Musselburgh too, it’s just a cute town! but its a 7 minute train ride away from Edinburgh and if you take the bus it’s about 30 minutes because you make so many stops but I love going through the city, you can also take a taxi, it’s probably like 15-20 minutes with a taxi, which i usually took when i came back from the clubs and stuff at night. I went to Edinburgh pretty much every day so it’s not that far at all!
hey! I checked things that were tagged with 'qmu' and it seems like you go there? :P anyway, I just got a conditional but I've never actually been to any open days or anything (I haven't even been to musselburgh before). I have some quick questions: how long does it take to get to edinburgh? what is there to do around the university? aaand do students spend more of their time outside of the university in musselburgh or edinburgh? thanks in advance for reading and have a nice day! :D
